Rome

Pastor and Luanne Erdos are hosting a trip to Rome in the summer of 2026. We will depart on July 6, 2026, for a 7-day trip to Italy. The trip will include a variety of memorable sites and places, including the Vatican, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Colosseum, and ancient stones almost too numerous to list. The trip will include day-trips to Pompeii and Ostia Antica. This trip will be exclusive to Rome, meaning we will stay in the same place in Rome during our whole trip. It will also only include our group - no other groups will be part of this tour. The cost of the trip is $3,198 for the ground portion. We won’t know airfare until August, but are estimating $1,100 round trip per person. Please note: this trip can accommodate 22 travelers, plus Pastor and Luanne!

If you think you may be interested, click here and download the brochure. If you have questions while Pastor Erdos is away on sabbatical, please speak with Trina Gould Liggett.

THE ONLY WAY TO SAVE YOUR SPOT IS TO SIGN UP THROUGH THE TOUR LINK.

Vacation Bible School

  • Trinity English Lutheran Church (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Join us for this year’s Vacation Bible School, Who Is My Neighbor?, where children will explore what it means to love and serve others as Jesus teaches in the parable of the Good Samaritan.

Through engaging stories, fun activities, and hands-on learning, kids will discover how they can be good neighbors to those near and far. Each day, they’ll journey to different parts of the world, experiencing the lives of others through crafts, games, and interactive lessons.

We invite parents to sign their children up for this meaningful and exciting week of faith, friendship, and service. VBS is a wonderful opportunity for kids to grow in their understanding of God’s love while building connections within our community. Don’t miss out—register today and let’s make this a summer to remember!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 13 - Thursday, July 17, from 4:30 - 7PM*. Open to children ages 3 (must be potty trained) through 12. Dinner will be provided with a free will offering.

Registration is now CLOSED.
* Sunday’s session will begin at 11:30AM.

Second Sunday Summer Choir

Enjoy singing but can’t make a full-year commitment? Consider joining us for Second Sunday Summer Choir, beginning June 8 - Pentecost. We will meet in the music room on the lower level of Trinity at 9:30AM and rehearse a modest piece and other musical elements of the liturgy for the day.

Since summer is a bit more relaxed, we will neither robe nor process. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a bit of community with others and utilize your musical gifts to share in the proclamation of God’s Word. We look forward to seeing you!

Hope in Action

Join us as we paint “kindness stones” for those in the hospital, care facilities, or the homebound receiving a visit from a member of Trinity’s care team. The stones will have a message or image of encouragement and will be a tangible reminder of the love of Jesus and the support of our community at Trinity.

All ages and levels of artistic talent are encouraged to join us for kindness stone painting, or just stop by at 9:30AM for donuts and fellowship to learn about the care team ministry at Trinity.
